How far ahead should I book a daily page commission
Two to four weeks is comfortable for an ordinary date, and six to eight weeks is safer around a holiday or a memorial date. A commission is confirmed when you approve the thumbnail and we mark the date on the calendar check grid, not when the first message is sent. Short notice is sometimes possible; ask plainly and we will tell you what is open.
Can I order a printed page set without a commission
Yes. Printed page sets are built from pages already in the studio archive, so no drawing date is needed. Tell us the period you like, the number of sheets and the finished size, and we will send the page list for approval. Sets print during the winter and summer print windows, and the confirmation email states the window and the shipping week.
What should I include in the message
Write the subject, the date it marks, the size you want and whether framing or a gift wrap is needed. A photograph helps but is not required, because the page is redrawn by hand rather than traced. If you are unsure what to say, describe the room or the object in a few sentences and we will draft the thumbnail from that.
